Cozy Mason Jar Sweater Candles

After an unusually warm start, winter has finally arrived here in Georgia in the form of our first snow! At my house, that signals building a fire, making hot chocolate and getting cozy...and what better way to get cozy than to add the warmth of candlelight in the evening! With this simple and inexpensive touch, you can even add coziness to your candles…with sweaters!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Mason Jar Sweater Candles suppliesHere’s what you will need:
  • Mason jar or other glass jar
  • Sleeves from an old sweater, preferably one with a design that would let the candlelight show through (I found my sweater at Goodwill)
  • Needle and thread
  • Votive candle (I used battery-operated candles)
And here’s what you will do:
Start by cutting the sleeve a little bit longer than the jar.
